The camping field is tucked away in the bottom corner field and looks out towards the lake. There's lots of room for kids to explore and for you to enjoy the peace of the Welsh countryside. The campsite is a lovely secluded field with a small stream, it is not accessible by car from our yard. We will take your things down by quad.

Only four tents are on the site at any one time. If you are a group of 10+ then you can have as many tents as you like and the field will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay - great for parties as you won't disturb anyone but the sheep.

Prices
£5 per person per night and children under 12 years old are £2.50 per night. We are a tiny campsite (as featured in the book of the same name) and the field isn't suitable all year round, so you must book in advance. You can pay on arrival in cash.

This is basic camping but there is a compost toilet in the field and a flushing one and cold water tap on the yard (bit of a walk up the hill). There are no shower facilities (maybe next year..one step at a time).

There are braziers to rent for your campfire and bags of logs are for sale. If you tire of outdoor cooking we can arrange evening meals and cooked breakfasts or there are a couple of local pubs (3 - 5 miles away).

We also have a large tent to rent which sleeps 4 people very comfortably (it's actually classed as an 8 man tent but they must be very little men/women).
