During the school Summer holidays
we specialize
in running junior week riding holidays.
A fun packed week for riders between 12 - 18yrs old.
Only 4-8 children taken per week so plenty of individual attention.
Children must be able to walk, trot & canter competently as our programme for the week includes a lot of hacking in open countryside and we do some x-country or showjumping for the more experienced.
You will stay in our en suite accommodation. Excellent home cooked food, all tastes are catered for vegetarian or otherwise. Horses & ponies range from 13.3hh - 16.3hh, so we are sure to have a horse to suit you all.....
Come and look after a horse/pony for a week (or two) exciting programme of rides through beautiful countryside & down quiet country lanes.
Learn about horse care & practical stable management, everything from the basics of grooming & tacking up to learning about rugging up your horse and applying different bandages. We also provide you with a personal stable management folder as a souvenir and as a record of your achievement whilst here at Five Saints, containing all your notes, quizzes and showday results.
If you are over 16yrs (on 31st August of that year) we offer 2 courses on "Introduction to Horse Riding" and "Introduction to Horse Care" where you will receive a certificate for both from the Welsh College of Horticulture on completion of the coursework which is verified here at Five Saints.
A useful addition to your CV.
Novice X-Country jumping in one of our fields at the farm if you have
jumping experience, or alternatively have a show jumping lesson in our
outdoor arena. If the weather does not allow us to jump in the field we
will do some showjumping in the school. Follow

If you want to join in on any jumping activities please bring a body protector
Midweek we will take a day off to go to the beach at the lovely bay of Llangrannog where we will have an evening Beach BBQ.
We end the week with a Show Day Finale with rosettes & special show champion award, competitions include a trail hunt, handy pony (obstacle course on horseback) & gymkhana games. Another highlight of the week is our marshmallow party on your last evening of the week (weather permitting), sit around the open fire, toasting marshmallows - yum! We have a points chart for all your stable management quizzes and prize and certificates for the winners.
