We came to Five Saints to go riding in the UK, following a holiday in the US were we tried riding in the Rocky Mountains. We had a great time with Nikki and Oz and got to know them quite well. The horses are all well looked after and in good shape. I fell in Love with Rosie (The Welsh Cob/Shire cross) but Nikki wouldn't let me take her home.
When we were making initial enquiries, it was Nikki's enthusiasm that meant we booked with Five saints. Once we arrived, that enthusiasm continued throughout the whole holiday and ensured we had a fantastic time.
Oz is a bit of a genius in the kitchen; cooking up delights such as roast beef (with yorkies) Risotto, Chilli Con Carne and Home made pizza etc. The food is good wholesome British cuisine and is just what the doctor ordered after a long day in the saddle.
If you are looking for 5* Silver service then go to a large Hotel in a big city. If you are looking for a 5* friendly farmhouse environment where you can get involved in looking after the horses and get to know a brave couple who are living "The Good Life" then this is for you!
We had a great time and I look forward to going again.

Thank you, Nikki, Oz, Deisha and Tom for a brilliant week! There was so
much we could comment on, but these are some of the highlights!
I learnt much from the horses I rode, with especial thanks to Rosie, Willow and,
Lizzie will shout, Tara and Pepe! Tara, her favourite, was a great confidence-giver to a seven year old with a lot of enthusiasm experiencing trekking for the first time. It was wonderful to see her growing in confidence and to have that race on our last day out. She won't let me forget that she beat me!
Deisha, as our trek
leader, worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect on each day's ride.
Nikki's love of riding and horses has clearly been passed down the family they are
clearly loved. There was always a high standard of care towards them and it was
wonderful to know that your horses have a home with you for life!
We will also fondly remember the cooked breakfasts, good conversation and
delicious meals had at night with Nikki, Oz (you truly are a great cook!), Deisha
and Tom in the oldest part of the cottage, whilst I am sure Lizzie will not forget
the fun she had cake-making with Tom, (generously presided over by Oz!) And, of
course, their regular swims in the 'Muddy Pond' after a day in the saddle.
The journey to the farm from the main road gives a taste of the special atmosphere and magic to be found at Five Saints as the surrounding countryside is breathtaking and really quite undiscovered. A warm welcome awaits and our accommodation in the Hayloft with private garden and views across the valley, was delightful.
Lizzie is now hooked on corn-fed 'Welsh' eggs and wants her own pony more than
ever!
Thank you for our memorable week with you all and your great horses. We have
every intention of returning!

Nikki and Oz, you make the perfect hosts. Thank you for a wonderful week, horses are lovely (especially Pepe and Mercury), beautiful countryside and great riding. Nikki thank you for the lesson, and improving my confidence. Oz thank you for the wonderful food...diet starts now! We hope to return in the new year.

omg this was the best holiday i've ever had!!! Best ever cooking - and i should know loving my food. all the greatest friends have been made at Five Saints especially Dija, Bill and DOLLY - the best pony in the entire world!
Very welcoming atmosphere, and lovely farmhouse. Weather & view were fantastic and the rides were like nothing you'd get around where we live.
Thank you so much for such a brilliant holiday, we will recommend because we love you! I'll definately bring a friend next year, maybe for kids week!!
